The Academy for Employee Participation (avm) has trained, guided, and advised Works Councils, business owners, managers and HR professionals on all aspects of employee participation since 2002. We believe that participation deserves a prominent role, both in society and within your organization, and we are committed to helping achieve that. Our motto is: “Collaborating for Success with avm.” Research shows that employee participation enhances motivation, increases communication and collaboration within and between departments, reduces absenteeism, improves the organization’s learning capacity, eases pressure on leadership, and improves the overall employer-employee relationship. In short, organizations are more successful in reaching their goals when participation is encouraged and the Works Council functions effectively. A training is truly successful when we thoroughly understand the learning needs of your Works Council (OR) and organization. Together, we explore and identify these needs. avm’s customised training programs are always results-driven and practical. Topics often raised include team development, vision- and strategy building, skills development, mergers, reorganizations, and collaboration challenges. We also cover specific legal regulations and their implementation, when needed.

We are happy to design a tailored program that meets your needs. Our trainings can be given either in-company or at an external training location—your preferences come first! After the training, we evaluate whether the goals were achieved, and our trainers remain available for any follow-up questions or advice.
